Harṣa

Where Women Gather, Something Awakens.

WHAT IS HARṢA?

Harṣa — pronounced HAR-sha — is a Sanskrit word for joy, delight and rapture: the subtle stirring of the body when something within us comes alive.

Inspired by the spirit of the Red Tent, Harṣa is a contemporary circle for women — a protected space to slow down, be witnessed and listen without judgement. Held monthly or quarterly, each gathering follows the living rhythm of the women who enter the circle.

We meet through sharing, breath, movement, womb connection, ritual, creativity, song and dance. There is room for honest conversations about the menstrual cycle, sexuality, motherhood, pleasure, loss and change — and also for silence, rest, celebration, tenderness and the remembrance that no woman has to carry life alone.

EVERY WOMAN BELONGS

Harṣa welcomes women of every age and every season of life — with a womb or without one, menstruating or not, young or mature, mothers or not mothers. Womanhood is not defined by anatomy, fertility, age or experience. You are welcome exactly as you are.

When women gather without judgement, remembering becomes possible.

We do not gather to fix one another. We gather to listen, to soften, to celebrate and to remember the wisdom already living within us.
A LIVING CIRCLE
हर्ष

Each Gathering Opens a New Portal.

Harṣa is not a programme to complete, but a circle that continues to unfold. Every monthly or quarterly gathering is a facilitated group experience held around one central theme — explored together through sharing, education, embodiment, ritual, creativity and rest.

ONE CIRCLE · ONE THEME

Come for one. Return for the journey.

Each gathering is complete in itself, so you may join whenever a theme speaks to you. Women who return will experience Harṣa as a continuing journey — meeting new layers of the body, the heart and feminine life. These are women’s circles, not one-to-one therapy sessions.

The theme, date and intention of each circle will be announced before registration opens.

The Agreements of the Circle.

Safety is not created by silence or perfection. It grows through the way we listen, honour boundaries and care for what is entrusted to us. These shared agreements allow every woman to arrive in her own rhythm.

01

We Honour Confidentiality

Personal stories and identities shared here are not carried outside the circle.

02

We Listen Without Fixing

We witness without interrupting, analysing or offering advice unless it is requested.

03

Sharing Is Always a Choice

No woman is required to speak. Silence, listening and simply being present are welcome.

04

Every “No” Is Sacred

You may pause, adapt or choose not to participate in any practice, at any moment.

05

Every Woman’s Experience Belongs

We respect different bodies, identities, histories, life stages and ways of being a woman.

06

We Release Comparison

There is no correct way to feel, express, heal or experience the circle — and no judgement.

07

You May Arrive Exactly as You Are

No previous knowledge, practice or experience is needed to take part.

08

We Honour the Scope of the Circle

Harṣa is an educational, embodied and community experience — not medical or psychological therapy.

You are invited to care for your own boundaries while helping protect the dignity, privacy and freedom of every woman beside you.

CLARITY CREATES SAFETY
हर्ष

What Harṣa Is — and What It Is Not.

Harṣa is a place to gather, experience and belong. Understanding the nature and boundaries of the circle allows every woman to enter with clarity, trust and freedom of choice.

  • An educational, somatic and ritual experience

Harṣa is created and experienced collectively as a women’s circle.

  • Group therapy

It does not replace medical, psychological or therapeutic care.

  • A religion or belief system

No spiritual belief, identity or worldview is required.

  • A demand to speak or disclose

Your voice is invited, never demanded. Listening and silence are equally welcome.

  • A sexual or nude experience

There is no sexual activity, intimate touch or requirement for nudity.

  • A programme to complete in sequence

There is no beginning to catch up on and no obligation to attend every gathering.

Come once or return. Each circle is whole, and every woman remains free to choose her own rhythm.

हर्ष AN INVITATION, NEVER A PROMISE
What might gently unfold for you?

Questions are
welcome here.

You deserve to understand the space before deciding whether it feels right for you. Open any question below to learn more.

01
BELONGING, SAFETY & PARTICIPATIONAbout being in the circle
Do I need to menstruate or have a womb?

No. Harṣa welcomes women with or without a physical womb, menstruating or not. Womanhood is not defined by anatomy, fertility or a menstrual cycle. Womb-centred language may be explored symbolically, energetically or through body awareness, according to what feels true and appropriate for you.

Is Harṣa suitable after menopause?

Yes. Harṣa welcomes women in every season of life, including perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause. The circle honours changing bodies, identities, rhythms and transitions without treating youth or menstruation as requirements for feminine belonging.

Do I need previous experience?

No previous experience with women’s circles, Tantra, somatic practice, meditation, movement or womb work is needed. Each practice will be introduced clearly, and you are always free to participate in your own way.

Will there be nudity, sexual activity or intimate touch?

No. Harṣa is not a sexual experience and does not include nudity, sexual activity or intimate touch. Themes may include sexuality, pleasure or the body in an educational and embodied context, while clear boundaries and consent are maintained.

Do I have to speak in the sharing circle?

No. Sharing is always an invitation, never an obligation. You may speak, listen, remain silent or pass when your turn comes. Your presence is meaningful even when you choose not to share.

Can I pause or choose not to join a practice?

Yes. Every “no” is respected. You may pause, observe, adapt or step away from any practice at any time without needing to justify your decision. May Gonzalez will offer options wherever possible, but you remain the authority on your own body.

Is Harṣa therapy?

No. Harṣa is a facilitated educational, somatic, ritual and community experience. It is not medical treatment, psychotherapy or group therapy, and it does not replace support from an appropriately qualified healthcare or mental-health professional.

Is everything shared confidential?

Confidentiality is one of the circle’s shared agreements. Participants are asked not to repeat personal stories or identify other women outside the gathering. May Gonzalez will protect your privacy within the scope of the facilitation; however, as with any group experience, no facilitator can provide an absolute legal guarantee for the actions of every participant.

Can pregnant women participate?

Pregnant women may be able to participate, depending on the theme and practices planned for that gathering. Please contact May Gonzalez before booking so suitable adaptations can be discussed. If you have medical concerns or pregnancy-related restrictions, seek guidance from your healthcare professional before attending.

Who is Harṣa for?

Harṣa is for women of different ages, bodies, histories and life stages — with or without a womb, menstruating or not, mothers or not mothers. You do not need to feel connected to femininity, spirituality or your body before coming. You are welcome to arrive with curiosity, tenderness, questions or simply a desire to be among women.

02
PRACTICAL DETAILSAbout joining a gathering
Can I attend only one gathering?

Yes. Every Harṣa gathering is complete in itself. You may join one theme that calls to you, return for a seasonal journey, or remain connected to the community without committing to every circle.

Do the gatherings need to be completed in sequence?

No. There is no first level to catch up on and no required order. Some advanced or specialised gatherings may have specific preparation requirements, which will always be stated clearly in the individual event description.

Are the gatherings in person or online?

Harṣa may include both in-person and online gatherings. The format, location and access information will be clearly identified in each event announcement before registration.

How many women will participate?

Group size may vary according to the theme, location and format. Harṣa is intentionally held with a limited capacity so that the circle can remain personal and well facilitated. The maximum number of participants will be listed for each gathering.

What should I bring?

Specific guidance will be sent before each gathering. In general, you may be invited to bring comfortable layered clothing, water, a journal and anything that supports your physical comfort. You will never be asked to bring an intimate object without clear advance information and choice.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Most women may arrive without knowing anyone. The opening of the gathering is designed to help everyone settle gradually, understand the shared agreements and enter the circle without pressure to socialise or perform.

Will there be photographs or recordings?

Personal sharing and embodied practices are not photographed or recorded. If an event includes an optional group photograph or promotional moment, this will be explained separately and explicit consent will be requested. Choosing not to appear will always be respected.

What language will the circle be held in?

The language of each gathering will be stated in its event announcement. If you understand the main language but do not feel fluent speaking it, you may still participate through listening, movement, writing or silence.

What if I have accessibility or mobility needs?

Please contact May Gonzalez before registering. She will explain the venue and practices and discuss reasonable adaptations where possible. Because accessibility varies by location and event format, it is important to confirm the details of the specific gathering.

How will I know the theme and next date?

Each theme, date, format, location and booking information will be announced in the Harṣa WhatsApp community. Community members receive the next invitation and priority access when places open.

STILL HOLDING A QUESTION?

You are welcome to ask before deciding whether Harṣa is right for you.
