What is Yoni Mapping?

A guided exploration of your intimate anatomy, sensation, pleasure and body awareness.

Yoni Mapping is a private 1:1 session designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of your vulva, vagina, pelvic space, sensations and sexual responses. Rooted in Somatic Sexology, conscious sexuality and Tao-Tantric principles, the session combines education with embodied awareness, inviting you to explore your intimate body with curiosity, presence and respect.

The word Yoni comes from Sanskrit and traditionally refers to the feminine generative space. Within my Womb Portals framework, the clitoris is known as the Portal of Pleasure, reminding us that pleasure extends far beyond what is visible. The clitoris is a complex internal organ, and exploring it also means exploring your relationship with sensation, intimacy, desire and embodied awareness.

Pleasure is not simply a physical response. It is influenced by attention, safety, emotions, body awareness, past experiences and the relationship we have developed with our own sexuality. Rather than asking, “Where should I feel pleasure?”, Yoni Mapping invites a different question: “What can I actually feel here?” This shift transforms the experience from performance into curiosity, awareness and self-discovery.

During our time together, we explore the intimate body without expectation or pressure to achieve a particular outcome. You may discover areas of pleasure, sensitivity, numbness, tension, contraction or subtle sensations that have never been consciously explored before. The intention is not to awaken something that is absent, but to cultivate a deeper relationship with your own body and its unique sensory language.

For many women, the vulva and vagina have primarily been experienced through partners, medical examinations, childbirth or cultural expectations. Yoni Mapping offers a different experience—one centred on your own perception, education and self-knowledge. It is an invitation to know your Yoni not as something that needs to perform, but as an intimate part of yourself that can be approached with presence, respect and loving awareness.

Who is this Yoni Mapping for?

Yoni Mapping is for women who want to develop a deeper, more conscious relationship with their intimate body, sensations, pleasure, and sexual responses.

This session may be for you if:

  • You feel disconnected from your Yoni, vulva, vagina, or pelvic space.
  • You want to understand your intimate anatomy beyond what you have previously learned or experienced.
  • You find it difficult to recognise what feels pleasurable, neutral, uncomfortable, or numb.
  • You experience areas of low sensitivity or disconnection and want to explore them with curiosity and awareness.
  • You want to discover different sensations and areas of pleasure without pressure to perform or reach orgasm.
  • You want to become more confident communicating your desires, boundaries, preferences, and needs.
  • You have spent much of your sexual life focusing on your partner’s experience rather than listening to your own body.
  • You want to explore how your body responds to different forms of attention, pressure, rhythm, breath, and presence.
  • You carry shame, fear, expectations, or conditioning around your genitals or sexuality and want to develop a different relationship with this part of yourself.
  • You are curious about Tantra, conscious sexuality, Somatic Sexology, and pleasure education from an embodied perspective.
  • You simply want to know your body better.

You do not need to have a sexual problem to experience Yoni Mapping. It can be a practice of sexual self-knowledge, curiosity, body literacy, and discovering the unique sensory language of your own body.

How the Yoni Mapping Session Works

1. Opening & Intention

We begin with a conversation about your relationship with your Yoni, sexuality, pleasure, body awareness, and what you would like to explore. This gives us a clear intention for the session while respecting your boundaries and personal experience.

2. Anatomy & Body Awareness

Before the mapping begins, we explore relevant intimate anatomy and the principles of sensory awareness. This helps you understand the different areas of your Yoni and approach your body with greater curiosity and knowledge.

3. Guided Sensory Mapping

I guide you verbally through a private, self-directed exploration of sensation. Rather than looking for a particular response, you are encouraged to notice what is actually present—such as sensitivity, pleasure, neutral sensation, tension, contraction, discomfort, or areas of reduced sensation.

4. Somatic Integration

We give space to what you noticed during the exploration. Together, we may look at patterns in sensation, body responses, boundaries, emotions, or discoveries that can help you better understand your relationship with your Yoni and sexuality.

5. Personal Practice & Resources

When appropriate, you may receive personalised practices and educational resources to continue your exploration independently. These may include anatomy education, sensory awareness exercises, pelvic practices, breathwork, articles, PDFs, videos, or other resources relevant to your experience.

There is no “correct” sensory map. The purpose is to become more familiar with the unique language of your own body.

Benefits of the Yoni Mapping

  1. Greater Intimate Body Awareness: Develop a deeper understanding of your vulva, vagina, pelvic space, and the different sensations present throughout your intimate body.
  2. Discover Your Sensory Map: Learn to recognise areas of pleasure, sensitivity, neutral sensation, tension, discomfort, contraction, or reduced sensation without judging what your body “should” feel.
  3. Deeper Understanding of Pleasure: Explore what types of sensation, attention, pressure, rhythm, and presence your body responds to, expanding your understanding of your own pleasure.
  4. Improved Body Literacy: Become more familiar with your intimate anatomy and develop a clearer language for understanding and describing what you experience in your body.
  5. Greater Awareness of Boundaries: Learn to notice subtle signals of openness, hesitation, contraction, comfort, and discomfort, supporting a more conscious relationship with your personal and sexual boundaries.
  6. More Conscious Sexual Communication: Knowing your body more deeply can help you communicate your preferences, desires, limits, and needs with greater clarity in intimate relationships.
  7. Reduced Performance Pressure: Move away from focusing exclusively on orgasm or sexual performance and learn to experience sexuality through sensation, curiosity, presence, and exploration.
  8. Sexual Self-Knowledge: Develop a more intimate understanding of how your body responds, what feels pleasurable or supportive, and what allows you to feel more present and connected during sexual experiences.
  9. A More Conscious Relationship with Your Yoni: Approach your intimate body with greater curiosity, respect, familiarity, and awareness—creating a relationship based on listening rather than expectation.

The greatest benefit of Yoni Mapping is not learning how your body should respond, but learning how to listen to the body you actually have.

How Yoni Mapping Connects With My Other Offerings

My work with women is built as an interconnected feminine ecosystem, exploring the relationship between the womb, emotions, sexuality, sexual energy, embodiment, pleasure, creativity and the energetic body.

Each offering has its own intention and can be experienced independently. At the same time, they complement one another by approaching different layers of the feminine experience.

Womb Consciousness → Awareness
A space for understanding what is asking to be seen. We explore your relationship with the womb, body, sexuality, emotions, feminine experience and the moment of life you are currently moving through.

Energetic Cleansing → Clearing
Works with the energetic dimension of the feminine, including the womb and Seven Womb Portals, chakras, emotional and relationship patterns, sexual energy, grounding, protection, prosperity and creative flow.

Yoni Mapping → Sensation
Brings attention to the sensory dimension of the Yoni, exploring sensation, sensitivity, pleasure, tension, areas of reduced sensation and your relationship with receiving and feeling.

Yoni Egg Therapy → Cultivation
Introduces an active practice of pelvic and Yoni awareness, sexual-energy cultivation and embodied feminine practices inspired by Taoist principles.

Authentic Tantra Massage for Women → Embodiment
Brings awareness into a broader whole-body experience through conscious touch, receiving, pleasure, sexual-energy awareness and embodiment.

Embodied Fertility → Creation
A three-month mentorship integrating different dimensions of this work around fertility and the feminine capacity to create, nourish and bring something into life — whether that is a child, a project, a vision or a new chapter of your life.

These are not six steps that every woman needs to complete. There is no fixed sequence, and you do not need to experience one offering in order to access another.

For one woman, the journey may begin with awareness. For another, with sensation, energetic clearing or embodiment. Some women may explore only one practice, while others may naturally move between different offerings as their needs and intentions evolve.

What connects them is the same underlying journey:

Awareness → Clearing → Sensation → Cultivation → Embodiment → Creation

Different practices. Different layers. One feminine ecosystem — supporting your return to your body, your womb, your energy and your creative centre.

Mapping the Clitoris

The clitoris invites us to understand pleasure beyond what we can see. Although often perceived as a small external structure, it is an extensive erectile organ, with most of its anatomy located internally and intimately connected with the surrounding genital tissues. To explore the clitoris is, therefore, to explore our relationship with pleasure itself.

Pleasure is not simply a physical sensation. It is shaped by attention, safety, arousal, emotions, past experiences, cultural conditioning, body awareness and the relationship we have developed with our own sexuality. For many women, this relationship has never been consciously explored.

Within my Womb Portals framework, I refer to the clitoris as the Portal of Pleasure. From both Somatic Sexology and Tantric philosophy, pleasure becomes more than the pursuit of orgasm. It is an invitation to cultivate awareness, deepen presence and rediscover the body’s innate capacity to feel, receive and listen.

Through Yoni Mapping, we begin to explore the intimate landscape of the body with curiosity rather than expectation. Instead of asking, “Where should I feel pleasure?” we begin asking, “What can I actually feel here?” This simple shift transforms pleasure from something to achieve into something to understand.

Rather than trying to awaken dormant sensations or pursue stronger stimulation, the intention is to develop a conscious relationship with your own body—creating a personal sensory map that allows you to recognise pleasure, sensitivity, tension and subtle sensations with greater awareness. In doing so, pleasure becomes not a destination, but a language through which the body begins to communicate more deeply with itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yoni Mapping is a guided somatic exploration of your intimate anatomy and sensations. It helps you become more familiar with your vulva, vagina and pelvic space while noticing different qualities of sensation such as pleasure, sensitivity, neutrality, tension, discomfort or reduced sensation.

The session takes place privately online. I guide you verbally through education, body awareness and the mapping process while you explore your own sensations in the privacy of your space. You remain completely in control of your body throughout the experience.

There is no requirement to be undressed on camera. Your privacy is maintained throughout the session, and any personal exploration takes place privately and according to your own boundaries.

No intimate parts of your body need to be visible to me. I guide the process verbally, and you communicate what you are noticing only to the extent that feels comfortable and useful for the session.

No. Orgasm is not the goal of Yoni Mapping. The focus is awareness rather than performance. Pleasure may be part of your experience, but neutral sensations, subtle sensations, tension or areas of reduced sensitivity can be equally valuable information when learning about your body.

That is completely valid within the mapping process. Yoni Mapping is not a test of sensitivity. Areas that feel subtle, neutral or difficult to sense are simply part of your current sensory map and can be explored without pressure to change them.

No. Yoni Mapping is suitable for beginners. Anatomy, sensory awareness and the principles of the practice are explained before the embodied exploration begins.

Depending on your intention, we may explore intimate anatomy, sensation, pleasure, pelvic awareness, boundaries, sexual responses, body awareness and your relationship with your Yoni. Breathwork, meditation or other somatic and Tantric practices may also be incorporated when appropriate.

No. Nothing is obligatory. The session can be adapted to your boundaries, comfort and intention. You can choose whether or not a particular aspect of the mapping feels appropriate for you.

It can help you develop greater awareness of your sensations, preferences and body responses. This may make it easier to recognise and communicate what feels pleasurable, neutral, uncomfortable or supportive for you.

When appropriate, I may suggest personalised sensory-awareness practices, breathwork, pelvic exercises or educational resources such as articles, PDFs or videos to continue developing your body awareness independently.

No. Yoni Mapping is an educational and somatic practice and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Persistent pain, bleeding, changes in sensation or other genital or pelvic-health concerns should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional.
