When I designed Kāmarasa, I did not want to create a couples retreat where people spend the entire day moving from one workshop to another. I wanted enough time for couples to arrive, experience the practices, rest, eat together, integrate what they have learned and still have private time within their own relationship.
This is why Kāmarasa — Multi-Orgasmic Tantric Training for Couples unfolds across four calendar days and three nights in the Ericeira region of Portugal. The next immersion takes place from 07–10 May 2027, beginning on Friday afternoon and ending on Monday morning. It is a residential experience, so the training, accommodation, meals, integration and private couple time all happen within the same retreat setting. Each couple stays together in their own private bedroom.
For me, the residential aspect matters. Intimate learning needs a different rhythm from an ordinary workshop. When couples explore conscious touch, arousal, sexual energy, giving and receiving, orgasmic awareness and practices from Authentic Tantra Massage by May Gonzalez, I do not want them to immediately pack their things, drive back to a hotel and return to everyday life. There needs to be space around the practice.
Kāmarasa was created around that space.
Why Four Days and Three Nights?
A Tantra retreat for couples does not need four days because couples need four days of constant activity. In fact, I believe the opposite. The value of an immersion is having enough time for experience and integration to coexist.
The structure of Kāmarasa moves progressively from presence, sensory awareness and body awareness into conscious touch, giving and receiving, breath, arousal, sexual energy and deeper intimate exploration. Multi-orgasmic awareness and orgasmic expansion are introduced within this progression rather than treated as techniques that can simply be taught in isolation.
This progression reflects something fundamental in the way I teach: multi-orgasmic pleasure begins with the capacity to feel. Before asking couples to explore increasingly intimate practices, I want them to become more perceptive. Can you notice how your partner breathes when you touch them? Can you receive without immediately anticipating what happens next? Can you recognise when arousal is rising, changing or softening? Can your hands listen rather than simply perform a technique?
These questions are part of the philosophy behind my work and Authentic Tantra Massage by May Gonzalez. Technique has value, but technique becomes considerably richer when it is accompanied by sensitivity, communication and awareness.
Friday — Arriving Before Doing
The first day is intentionally spacious.
International couples can check in from 4:00 PM, settle into their private bedroom and become familiar with the house before the formal immersion develops. Welcome Dinner is at 7:30 PM, followed by a Fireside Welcome at 9:00 PM.
I chose this rhythm deliberately. I do not want couples arriving from airports, roads, work schedules and everyday responsibilities and immediately being asked to enter an intense practice.
Arrival is already part of the retreat.
There is something valuable about putting your suitcase down, seeing where you will sleep, meeting the other couples, eating together and allowing the nervous system to recognise that you are somewhere different. Friday creates that transition without asking the body to perform.
For international guests, I actually recommend considering arriving in Portugal one or two days earlier when possible. It is not required, but it gives couples some flexibility around flights and an opportunity to rest before entering the immersion.
Saturday — The Body, the Senses and Conscious Touch
Saturday is where the embodied training opens more fully.
The day moves into Awakening the Senses, exploring touch, sight, scent, taste, sound, sensory awareness and presence between partners. After a long lunch and integration period, couples enter The Art of Conscious Touch, where giving and receiving, embodied listening and partner practice become central. Later, the exploration develops toward sexual energy and orgasmic expansion through breath, movement, sound, arousal awareness and energy circulation.
This sequence is important to me because I do not want to begin a Tantra couples retreat with genital techniques.
Sexuality is already happening throughout the body. The senses participate in arousal. Breath participates. Anticipation participates. The way someone approaches us, looks at us or places a hand on our skin can change the entire experience.
Conscious touch then becomes an education in perception. Within principles from Authentic Tantra Massage by May Gonzalez, couples can begin exploring how pressure, rhythm, pace, presence and responsiveness change the experience of touch. The intention is not simply to learn a massage sequence. I want partners to understand the body they are touching.
Saturday also includes substantial pauses. Lunch is not squeezed between workshops, and the formal programme finishes before dinner, followed by a free evening rather than another mandatory session.
That rhythm is intentional. Integration is part of the training.
Sunday — Deeper Intimacy Without Rushing the Ending
By Sunday, couples have already spent time developing sensory awareness, conscious touch and greater familiarity with giving and receiving within the retreat environment. The day can therefore move into deeper embodied exploration.
The current programme includes a slow morning followed by Intimate Practice & Embodied Exploration, with conscious touch, guided couple practice and arousal awareness. After a long lunch and integration period, the afternoon moves into Orgasmic Expansion & Integration, working with breath, energy circulation, sound and embodied awareness. The formal practice space closes at 5:30 PM.
I deliberately do not continue teaching until late Sunday night.
After an intimate training, couples need time with each other. The practices should not consume the entire retreat. From 5:30 PM onward, the evening becomes spacious again, followed by the Closing Dinner at 7:30 PM and a free fireside evening.
This private time is especially important in Kāmarasa because I want what couples learn to begin belonging to their relationship, rather than remaining something that only exists while I am facilitating.
The retreat introduces practices. Your relationship becomes the place where the exploration continues. That continuation is explicitly part of the way Kāmarasa has been designed.
Monday — A Flexible Departure Morning
Monday is intentionally not another workshop day. The formal training has already concluded on Sunday, allowing the final morning to remain completely flexible.
Couples are welcome to wake slowly, have breakfast, enjoy a final coffee, pack and take some quiet time together before leaving. There is no requirement to remain at the retreat until the official 10:30 AM check-out. If you have an early flight, transportation arrangements, work commitments or simply prefer to begin your journey earlier, you are completely free to leave at the time that works best for you.
For couples who choose to stay, breakfast and the slow morning take place from 8:00–9:30 AM, followed by an informal farewell and departure period until 10:30 AM, when the venue officially closes for check-out.
I designed Monday this way deliberately. After an intimate and immersive weekend, I do not want couples to feel that they have one final activity they are required to attend before being allowed to leave. Some may want to stay until the last coffee; others may need to reach Lisbon Airport early or continue their travels elsewhere in Portugal.
The retreat ends together on Sunday. Monday morning belongs to each couple and the rhythm of their own journey home.
What Does “Private” Mean in a Group Couples Retreat?
Kāmarasa is a small group retreat, so “private” does not mean that every workshop happens separately behind a closed door. It means that the boundaries between the group experience and the couple’s intimate experience are clearly defined.
You practise with the partner you came with. There is no partner swapping. Sexual activity does not take place in the group practice space, and intimate exploration remains within your own couple. Consent, communication, boundaries and confidentiality are part of the structure of the training.
This distinction matters to me because couples should know what they are entering before they arrive.
Kāmarasa is not designed around exposing intimacy or creating sexual interaction between couples. The group provides a shared environment for teaching, demonstrations and guided learning. Your partner remains the person with whom you explore.
Privacy also continues into the residential experience. Each couple has their own private bedroom, while the house provides shared spaces for practice, meals, rest and integration.
For couples who feel curious about Tantra but also shy about attending a retreat, these boundaries can make a considerable difference.
A Tantra Couples Retreat Where Rest Is Part of the Programme
One of the things I wanted to avoid when creating Kāmarasa was the feeling that every available hour needed to contain another activity.
There are teachings and practices, but there are also long lunches, meals, nature, integration, private couple time and free evenings. The residential format allows these moments to exist without requiring couples to continually travel between accommodation and workshops.
Food is part of this rhythm as well. The retreat meals are vegetarian or vegan, with dietary needs such as gluten-free and lactose-free options accommodated when arranged in advance. Meals are prepared with Brazilian and Portuguese influences and are intentionally treated as moments of grounding and integration between practices.
For me, this is part of embodied work. Receiving nourishment, resting after a practice and having unstructured time with your partner are not interruptions to the retreat. They support the experience.
Who Is This 4-Day Tantra Couples Retreat For?
Kāmarasa is for couples who want to explore intimacy, pleasure, conscious touch, sexual energy and orgasmic awareness together. Previous Tantra experience is not required, and you do not need to already identify as multi-orgasmic. The training is progressive and begins by developing awareness and sensitivity before moving into deeper explorations.
It is also not a professional certification. Kāmarasa is a personal and experiential training for couples, with practices intended to be explored within your own relationship.
I created it for couples who are willing to be curious together. You may want to understand your partner’s body differently, develop conscious touch, explore giving and receiving, become more aware of arousal, experience sexual energy differently or simply create dedicated space for an aspect of your relationship that everyday life rarely gives enough attention.
Kāmarasa welcomes couples of different sexual orientations and relationship expressions. What matters is arriving as a couple with mutual consent and a genuine desire to experience the training together.
Kāmarasa 2027 — Ericeira Region, Portugal
The next Kāmarasa — Multi-Orgasmic Tantric Training for Couples takes place in the Ericeira region of Portugal from 07–10 May 2027 and is facilitated in English. The residential experience includes three nights, a private bedroom for each couple, the complete training, guided workshops and embodied practices, meals, refreshments, retreat spaces and integration time.
The venue is approximately 40 minutes by road from Lisbon Airport, making the retreat accessible for international couples while still creating the feeling of leaving ordinary life behind.
For me, Kāmarasa is not about filling four days with Tantra. It is about creating enough space for couples to arrive, learn, practise, receive, rest, integrate and return to each other.
And that is precisely why the spaces between the practices matter as much as the practices themselves.
